Its been a while since my last blog post. Well as usual with most people, life has taken over during. I will be blogging now a lot more on how to setup applications withing Linux. This was due to a serious disk failure, and not backing up my data for a while. I have decided to document how I setup the applications. I will not go into serious detail, on how every switch work. There are enough websites that can tell you this. I will be more the how to get you app running, as quickly as possible. Hopefully I can work, on how to get most apps working in ten minutes or less.
If you are using Gallery2 and you get a error stating the upload size limit being too large. This is not a Gallery2 limitation but a php limitation.
To modify the limitation limit of two megabyte to e.g. ten megabyte limit is as simple as just changing the php.ini file.
The administrator just needs to change the two variables in the php.ini file.
Under debian the php.ini file is located in the following area
The following variables need to be changed post_max_size and upload_max_filesize.
Change the values to the following
Also remember to restart apache2 for the changes to take effect.
The following command is needed to restart apache.

Well I have installed windows service pack three upon my Dell 9300 laptop. So far things have been so good. Really have not noticed any difference upon my current windows. Windows does not seem to be any slower nor any faster, than with service pack two installed. No apps so far have died, failed etc to run. Compared to Windows Vista which is a dog to run. I have been told by many people who actually run Vista that, the amount of problems associated, that going back to Windows XP is a godsend. Seems Apple is cashing in on Microsoft’s failure. Apple machine sales rose last quarter. Guess all those disillusioned people, who are either upgrading or buying for the first time, have decided to go mac. Only time will tell with Windows 7 arriving in 2010. Can Apple hurt Microsoft enough to finally be a force to be feared with.
After some delay and confusion. I am back on the air ready to blog about. Well my old job can stick it about the previous blog entries. Will continue to be a voice of freedom. Hope people will be happy to what I have to say. Hope my voice can be heard in this wilderness.
